CVE-2010-5324 is a directory traversal vulnerability in UploadServlet within the Remote Management component of Novell ZENworks Configuration Management (ZCM) versions before 10.3. An attacker can submit a zenworks-fileupload request containing a crafted directory name in the type parameter, a WAR archive filename in the filename parameter, and WAR content in the POST body. This permits placement of a malicious WAR file and arbitrary code execution.

This repository contains a single Metasploit module (modules/exploits/windows/http/zenworks_uploadservlet.rb) targeting Novell ZENworks Configuration Management 10.2.0 (CVE-2010-5324). The exploit abuses the UploadServlet to upload a malicious WAR file outside the intended directory, then triggers the payload by accessing the uploaded JSP. The module supports multiple platforms (Java, Linux x86, Windows x86) and leverages Metasploit's payload system, allowing for customizable payloads such as reverse shells. The main attack vector is network-based, exploiting an HTTP endpoint. The code is mature and weaponized, as it is part of the Metasploit framework and provides automated exploitation and payload handling.
