A vulnerability in the web-based management interface of Cisco Secure Access Control System (ACS) 5.1 (prior to 5.1.0.44.6) and 5.2 (prior to 5.2.0.26.3) allows remote, unauthenticated attackers to change the password of any user account in the internal identity store without knowledge of the previous password. The vulnerability does not affect accounts managed by external identity stores or system administrator accounts, and does not permit modification of other account attributes, access policies, or device properties. The issue is tracked as Cisco bug ID CSCtl77440.

This repository contains a single Metasploit auxiliary module (modules/auxiliary/admin/networking/cisco_secure_acs_bypass.rb) that exploits an authentication bypass vulnerability (CVE-2011-0951) in Cisco Secure ACS versions 5.1 (patches 3, 4, 5) and 5.2 (no patches, patches 1, 2). The module sends a crafted SOAP request to the /PI/services/UCP/ endpoint, allowing an attacker to change the password of any user in the local store without authentication. The exploit is operational and can be used to gain unauthorized access to affected systems by resetting user credentials. The module is written in Ruby and is designed to be run within the Metasploit framework. The only network endpoint directly targeted is the UCP web service on the ACS server, typically accessed over HTTPS on port 443.
