CVE-2011-1184 is an authentication replay weakness in Apache Tomcat HTTP Digest Access Authentication. Tomcat 5.5.x before 5.5.34, 6.x before 6.0.33, and 7.x before 7.0.12 do not implement the expected replay protections because they inadequately validate the server nonce and nonce-count values in Digest authentication requests. Consequently, a previously valid captured Digest-authenticated request can be accepted again rather than rejected as a replay.
