CVE-2011-2757 is a directory traversal vulnerability in FileDownload.jsp in ManageEngine ServiceDesk Plus 8.0.0.12 and earlier. The application fails to properly validate or sanitize user-supplied input in the FILENAME parameter, allowing an attacker to supply path traversal sequences such as '..' to access files outside the intended directory. By manipulating this parameter in requests to FileDownload.jsp, a remote attacker can cause the application to read and return arbitrary files from the underlying server filesystem. The issue affects versions up to and including 8.0.0.12.

This repository contains a single Metasploit auxiliary module targeting a path traversal vulnerability (CVE-2011-2757) in ManageEngine ServiceDesk Plus (build 9110 and lower). The module allows unauthenticated attackers to retrieve arbitrary files from the server's filesystem by exploiting the vulnerable /workorder/FileDownload.jsp endpoint. The exploit works by sending a GET request with a crafted 'fName' parameter containing directory traversal sequences (../) and a null byte terminator. The module is operational, providing file exfiltration capabilities, and is configurable for target URI, port, traversal depth, and file path. The code is written in Ruby and is structured as a standard Metasploit module, with the main logic in the 'run_host' method. No detection or fake code is present; the module is a functional exploit.
