CVE-2011-3368 is an improper input-validation flaw in Apache HTTP Server mod_proxy affecting Apache HTTP Server 1.3 through 1.3.42, 2.0 through 2.0.64, and 2.2 through 2.2.21. In reverse-proxy configurations using RewriteRule or ProxyPassMatch pattern matching, a malformed request URI beginning with an at-sign can be interpreted unexpectedly during target URL expansion. This can cause the proxy to route an attacker-controlled request to an intranet server rather than the intended reverse-proxy target.
