CVE-2011-5009 is a vulnerability in the CmpWebServer.dll module of the Control service in 3S CoDeSys 3.4 SP4 Patch 2. It allows remote attackers to trigger a denial of service condition by causing a NULL pointer dereference. This can be achieved by sending either a crafted Content-Length header in an HTTP POST request or an invalid HTTP request method to the service listening on port 8080/TCP. The vulnerability is due to insufficient validation of HTTP request parameters, leading to dereferencing a NULL pointer in the affected module.
