CVE-2011-5062 is an improper authentication vulnerability in Apache Tomcat's HTTP Digest Access Authentication implementation. Tomcat 5.5.x before 5.5.34, 6.x before 6.0.33, and 7.x before 7.0.12 fail to validate quality-of-protection (qop) values. A remote attacker can supply qop=auth, rather than a qop mode intended to provide integrity protection, and thereby bypass intended HTTP Digest integrity-protection requirements.
