CVE-2012-0911 affects TikiWiki CMS/Groupware before 6.7 LTS and before 8.4. The vulnerability is caused by unsafe use of PHP's unserialize() on attacker-controlled input. Specifically, crafted serialized objects supplied via the cookieName parameter to lib/banners/bannerlib.php, the printpages or printstructures parameters to tiki-print_multi_pages.php or tiki-print_pages.php, or the sendpages, sendstructures, or sendarticles parameters to tiki-send_objects.php are not properly validated before being passed to unserialize(). This creates a PHP object injection condition that can be leveraged to execute arbitrary PHP code, depending on the available gadget chain and application context.
