This repository contains a single Metasploit module (Ruby file) that exploits a buffer overflow vulnerability in HP Operations Agent (coda.exe) for Windows (CVE-2012-2020). The exploit targets the 0x8c opcode in coda.exe, which by default only listens on localhost but can be configured for remote access. The module supports exploitation on HP Operations Agent 11.00 running on Windows XP SP3 and Windows 2003 SP2, including DEP bypass for the latter. The exploit works by sending crafted HTTP requests to the coda.exe service, first checking its presence with a ping and then triggering the overflow with a specially constructed payload. The payload is customizable and allows for arbitrary code execution. The module includes logic to handle different target OS versions and uses ROP chains for DEP bypass where necessary. The main network endpoints involved are '/Hewlett-Packard/OpenView/BBC/ping/' for service detection and '/Hewlett-Packard/OpenView/Coda/' for exploitation. The repository is operational and provides a working remote code execution exploit for the specified vulnerability.
