CVE-2012-2627 is an arbitrary file upload vulnerability in d4d/uploader.php within the web console of Plixer Scrutinizer, also known as Dell SonicWALL Scrutinizer, affecting versions prior to 9.5.0. The flaw allows a remote attacker to submit a crafted multipart/form-data POST request and create or overwrite arbitrary files in the application's SNMP MIBs directory under the Scrutinizer installation path. The issue is exposed without authentication, enabling direct modification of files used by the application and unauthorized writes to the server file system within the reachable target directory.
