CVE-2013-10064 is a stack-based buffer overflow in ActFax Server version 5.01. The flaw is present in the server's RAW protocol interface when processing @F506 fax header fields. User-controlled data from the @F506 field is copied unsafely with strcpy into a stack buffer without proper bounds checking, allowing an attacker to overflow the buffer. A remote, unauthenticated attacker with network access to the service on TCP port 4559 can trigger the condition by sending a specially crafted RAW protocol request containing an oversized or malformed @F506 field. The vulnerability may result in process crash or arbitrary code execution depending on exploitability and target conditions.

This repository contains a single Metasploit module (modules/exploits/windows/misc/actfax_raw_server_bof.rb) that exploits a buffer overflow vulnerability (CVE-2013-10064) in the ActFax Server 5.01 RAW server component on Windows XP SP3. The exploit connects to the RAW server over TCP, sends a specially crafted @F506 field containing a payload and buffer overflow data, and achieves remote code execution. The module allows the attacker to supply a custom Metasploit payload, such as a reverse shell. The exploit is operational and targets a specific product/version. The only fingerprintable endpoint is the ActFax RAW server's TCP port, which is typically 5151 but is not hardcoded in the module. The code is written in Ruby and is structured as a standard Metasploit exploit module.
