CVE-2013-3214 is a PHP code injection vulnerability in vtiger CRM versions 5.0.0 through 5.4.0. The flaw resides in the AddEmailAttachment() SOAP method of vtigerolservice.php, where insufficient validation of the 'filedata' and 'filename' parameters allows remote authenticated users to inject and execute arbitrary PHP code by writing or overwriting files in the storage directory. The vulnerability is due to improper input validation and insecure file handling.

This repository contains a single Metasploit module (modules/exploits/multi/http/vtiger_soap_upload.rb) targeting vTiger CRM (tested on v5.4.0). The exploit leverages two vulnerabilities: an authentication bypass in the SOAP service and an arbitrary file upload via the AddEmailAttachment SOAP method. By sending a crafted SOAP request to the /vtigercrm/vtigerservice.php endpoint, the module uploads a PHP payload (using path traversal to place it in a web-accessible location) and then executes it, resulting in remote code execution. The module is operational and allows the attacker to run arbitrary PHP code on the target. The only required configuration is the base path to the vTiger CRM instance. The exploit targets CVE-2013-3214 and CVE-2013-3215. The code is written in Ruby and is designed to be used within the Metasploit framework.
