CVE-2013-4810 is a remote code execution vulnerability in HP ProCurve Manager (PCM) 3.20 and 4.0, PCM+ 3.20 and 4.0, Identity Driven Manager (IDM) 4.0, and Application Lifecycle Management. The vulnerability arises from insecure deserialization of Java objects in the EJBInvokerServlet and JMXInvokerServlet endpoints, which accept marshalled objects from remote attackers. By sending a specially crafted serialized Java object, an attacker can trigger the execution of arbitrary code on the server. This vulnerability is closely related to a series of similar flaws in JBoss, as these servlets are based on JBoss technology and are susceptible to the same deserialization attack vectors, including exploitation via Java serialization magic methods and JNDI injection chains.
