CVE-2013-5967 is a set of SQL injection vulnerabilities in AlienVault Open Source Security Information Management (OSSIM) 4.3 and earlier. The issue affects the date_from parameter in multiple PHP scripts under the RadarReport/ component: radar-iso27001-potential.php, radar-iso27001-A12IS_acquisition-pot.php, radar-iso27001-A11AccessControl-pot.php, radar-iso27001-A10Com_OP_Mgnt-pot.php, and radar-pci-potential.php. A remote attacker can supply crafted input to the date_from parameter that is insufficiently sanitized before being incorporated into backend SQL queries, allowing execution of arbitrary SQL commands against the application's database.

This repository contains a single Metasploit auxiliary module targeting AlienVault 4.5.0 (CVE-2013-5967). The module exploits an authenticated SQL injection vulnerability in the ISO27001Bar1.php report generation script, allowing any authenticated user to read arbitrary files from the server's filesystem. The exploit works by first authenticating to the web interface using provided credentials, then sending a specially crafted GET request to the vulnerable PHP script, leveraging the MySQL LOAD_FILE() function to extract file contents in chunks. The results are stored locally as loot. The module requires the target's URI, a valid username and password, and the path of the file to read (default: /etc/passwd). The code is written in Ruby and is designed to be run within the Metasploit framework. No fake or detection-only code is present; this is a functional exploit for file disclosure via SQL injection.
