CVE-2013-7389 is a multiple cross-site scripting vulnerability affecting D-Link DIR-645 Router Rev. A1 devices running firmware prior to 1.04B11. The vulnerable web interface fails to properly neutralize untrusted input in at least three request parameters: the deviceid parameter in parentalcontrols/bind.php, the RESULT parameter in info.php, and the receiver parameter in bsc_sms_send.php. A remote attacker can supply crafted input containing arbitrary HTML or JavaScript, which is then rendered by a victim's browser in the router management interface context.

This repository contains a single Metasploit module (modules/exploits/linux/http/dlink_hedwig_cgi_bof.rb) that exploits a buffer overflow vulnerability (CVE-2013-7389) in the 'hedwig.cgi' endpoint of several D-Link routers (DIR-645 v1.03, DIR-300 v2.14, DIR-600). The exploit works by sending a specially crafted HTTP POST request to '/hedwig.cgi' with an overlong 'Cookie' header, triggering a buffer overflow and allowing remote code execution as root. The module uses Metasploit's CmdStager to deliver arbitrary shell commands, targeting the MIPSLE architecture. The code includes a check method to verify if the target is vulnerable and an exploit method to execute the payload. The only fingerprintable endpoint is '/hedwig.cgi', which is the attack vector for this exploit. The repository is operational and ready for use within the Metasploit framework.
This repository contains a single Metasploit module (modules/exploits/linux/http/dlink_authentication_cgi_bof.rb) that exploits a remote buffer overflow vulnerability (CVE-2013-7389) in the /authentication.cgi endpoint of several D-Link routers (DIR-645, DIR-865L, DIR-845L). The exploit works by sending a specially crafted POST request with an overly long 'password' parameter, triggering a buffer overflow and allowing arbitrary command execution on the device. The module uses Metasploit's CmdStager to deliver and execute payloads, targeting MIPSLE architecture on Linux-based routers. No authentication is required to exploit the vulnerability. The code is operational and provides remote code execution capabilities, making it a practical exploit for penetration testers and attackers. The only fingerprintable endpoint is the /authentication.cgi path on the target device's web interface.
