CVE-2014-0093 is an improper privilege-management vulnerability in Red Hat JBoss products using the Java Security Manager (JSM). JSM permissions specified in a policy file were not correctly applied to deployed applications. Consequently, deployed applications could receive java.security.AllPermission instead of the intended restricted permission set. The issue affected JBoss Enterprise Application Platform 6 deployments and was also remediated in updates for JBoss BPM Suite, JBoss BRMS, JBoss Fuse Service Works, and JBoss Portal.
