CVE-2014-0098 is a denial-of-service vulnerability in the mod_log_config module of Apache HTTP Server before version 2.4.8. The log_cookie function improperly handles a crafted Cookie header during cookie-value truncation. Processing the malformed cookie while generating cookie log output can dereference an invalid pointer and cause a segmentation fault.
