CVE-2014-2087 is a stack-based buffer overflow in Free Download Manager's CDownloads_Deleted::UpdateDownload function. A fixed 10,000-byte stack buffer used to construct a queued download display string is populated with a filename and subsequently appended URL data through unsafe lstrcat operations without validating the resulting aggregate length. An attacker-controlled oversized redirect URL or download-list entry can overflow the buffer when the user deletes the corresponding queued download. Affected releases include Free Download Manager 3.9.3 build 1360, 3.8 build 1173, and 3.0 build 852; earlier versions may also be affected.

A critical stack-based buffer overflow in Free Download Manager's download-queue deletion handling. An attacker-controlled HTTP 301 redirect can supply an oversized filename/URL, overwrite stack memory including SEH or return addresses, and execute code as the application user. It is also locally exploitable through importing a download list.
A critical remote code execution vulnerability in Free Download Manager caused by a stack-based buffer overflow during deletion of a crafted download-queue entry. An attacker can deliver an oversized value through an HTTP 301 redirect; a local exploitation path via the application's “Import list of downloads” function is also described.
