CVE-2014-3558 is an incorrect privilege-assignment vulnerability in Hibernate Validator's org.hibernate.validator.util.ReflectionHelper. In affected releases, the implementation and the permissions required for Hibernate Validator to operate under the Java Security Manager permit a malicious application in the same application container to invoke reflection operations that should be restricted by the Java Security Manager. Affected versions are Hibernate Validator 4.1.0 before 4.2.1, 4.3.x before 4.3.2, and 5.x before 5.1.2.
