CVE-2014-3625 is a directory traversal vulnerability in Spring Framework static resource handling. Insufficient sanitization of certain request URLs allows path traversal sequences to influence resolution of static resources, enabling a remote attacker to read files outside the intended resource directory. The issue affects Spring Framework 3.0.4 through 3.2.x before 3.2.12, 4.0.x before 4.0.8, and 4.1.x before 4.1.2.
