CVE-2014-3682 is an XML External Entity (XXE) vulnerability in the BPMN2 import functionality of jbpm-designer, specifically the JBPMBpmn2ResourceImpl implementation. Affected jbpm-designer 6.0.x and 6.2.x versions process crafted BPMN2 XML with external entity references without adequately restricting entity resolution. A remote attacker can submit a malicious BPMN2 document to cause the application server to resolve attacker-controlled external entities.
