The vulnerability exists in versions 5 through 7 build 7003 of PMP and IT360 before 10.3.3 build 10330. It allows remote attackers or authenticated users to execute arbitrary SQL commands via the 'sv' parameter to MetadataServlet.dat. The vulnerability can be exploited via unauthenticated GET requests in most affected products, except for IT360, which requires authentication. The flaw has existed since at least 2008 and is present in both standard and MSP versions.
