CVE-2014-8499 is a blind SQL injection vulnerability in ManageEngine Password Manager Pro (PMP) and Password Manager Pro Managed Service Providers (MSP) edition prior to version 7.1 build 7105. The vulnerability exists in the SEARCH_ALL parameter of the /SQLAdvancedALSearchResult.cc and /AdvancedSearchResult.cc endpoints. It allows remote authenticated users, including those with low-privileged or guest accounts, to inject arbitrary SQL commands. The vulnerability is present in both MySQL and PostgreSQL backends, and input sanitization is insufficient to prevent exploitation due to double escaping and case conversion issues.

This repository contains a single Metasploit auxiliary module targeting ManageEngine Password Manager Pro (PMP) versions 6.8 to 7.1 build 7104, specifically when using PostgreSQL as the backend database. The module exploits an authenticated blind SQL injection vulnerability (CVE-2014-8499) in the SQLAdvancedALSearchResult.cc endpoint to escalate privileges to Super Administrator. Once escalated, it leverages Super Administrator access to export the entire password database in CSV format. The exploit requires valid credentials (default guest/guest) and network access to the PMP web interface (default port 7272, typically over HTTPS). The code is written in Ruby and is designed to be run within the Metasploit Framework. The main file implements all logic, including authentication, SQL injection, privilege escalation, and password database exfiltration. Several HTTP endpoints are used for authentication, privilege escalation, and data export. The exploit is operational and provides a significant impact by exposing all stored passwords in the target system.
