CVE-2015-2808, known as Bar Mitzvah, is a cryptographic weakness in RC4 when negotiated by TLS or SSL. RC4 initialization does not adequately combine state data and key data, producing an Invariance Weakness that can bias the initial bytes of a keystream for certain keys. An attacker who captures sufficient qualifying encrypted traffic can apply statistical and brute-force analysis involving least-significant-bit values to recover portions of plaintext at the beginning of protected streams.
