CVE-2015-6564 is a use-after-free vulnerability in OpenSSH sshd before 7.0 on non-OpenBSD platforms. The flaw is in mm_answer_pam_free_ctx() in monitor.c, where an unexpectedly early MONITOR_REQ_PAM_FREE_CTX request can cause PAM-related context to be freed while it is still reachable or subsequently reused. A local user who can leverage control of the sshd uid may be able to trigger this memory corruption condition and influence subsequent program behavior, resulting in privilege escalation.
