CVE-2015-8351 is a file inclusion vulnerability in the Gwolle Guestbook WordPress plugin prior to 1.5.4. The endpoint frontend/captcha/ajaxresponse.php accepts an abspath parameter that can be set to a URL when PHP allow_url_include is enabled, resulting in remote file inclusion and execution of attacker-controlled PHP code. The same parameter can also be abused with directory traversal sequences to include and execute local files (LFI) regardless of allow_url_include.

This repository contains a single exploit script (exploit.py) targeting CVE-2015-8351, a remote file inclusion (RFI) vulnerability in the Gwolle Guestbook WordPress plugin. The exploit works by writing a malicious PHP payload (containing a system command) to a file (wp-load.php) on the attacker's machine, starting a web server to serve this file, and then instructing the vulnerable WordPress endpoint to include the attacker's file via the 'abspath' parameter. The script supports both single-command and interactive modes, allowing the attacker to execute arbitrary commands on the target server. The only other file is a LICENSE. The exploit requires the attacker to specify the target URL, their own IP and port (for the web server), and the command to execute. The main attack vector is network-based, exploiting an HTTP endpoint on the target. The script is operational and provides a working exploit for the vulnerability.
