CVE-2015-9098 is a vulnerability in Redgate SQL Monitor before 3.10 and 4.x before 4.2, where the Base Monitor component allows remote, unauthenticated attackers to gain access and execute arbitrary SQL commands on any monitored Microsoft SQL Server instances. If the Base Monitor uses an account with SQL admin privileges, this can be leveraged to execute code on the underlying operating system, potentially leading to full system compromise if SQL Server runs with local administrator rights.
