CVE-2016-0706 is an information-disclosure and SecurityManager-isolation bypass in Apache Tomcat. In affected releases, StatusManagerServlet was omitted from the restricted-servlet list, allowing a web application to load it despite an enabled Java SecurityManager. The servlet can enumerate deployed applications and expose HTTP request lines currently processed across co-hosted applications, potentially disclosing sensitive values embedded in requests, including session identifiers.
