CVE-2016-10009 is an untrusted search path vulnerability in ssh-agent in OpenSSH before 7.4. The flaw affects the PKCS#11 module-loading functionality and allows a remote attacker who can interact with a forwarded agent socket to cause ssh-agent to load an arbitrary local PKCS#11 module from an attacker-influenced path. The issue arises from insufficient restriction of module loading and unsafe reliance on local library search paths, enabling unintended code loading in the context of the user running ssh-agent.
