CVE-2016-10258 is an unrestricted file upload vulnerability in the management consoles of Symantec Advanced Secure Gateway (ASG) and ProxySG. The vulnerability allows a malicious appliance administrator to upload arbitrary files, including malicious executables, to the management console. These files can then be presented to other administrator users, who may be tricked into downloading and executing them, leading to potential code execution on their systems.
