CVE-2016-3115 is a set of CRLF injection vulnerabilities in OpenSSH sshd (session.c) prior to 7.2p2. Remote authenticated users who are permitted to use X11 forwarding can supply crafted X11 forwarding data that injects CRLF sequences into data passed through the X11 forwarding/xauth handling path, enabling bypass of intended shell-command restrictions. The issue is associated with the do_authenticated1 and session_x11_req functions.
