CVE-2016-3427 is a vulnerability in the JMX component of Oracle Java SE, Java SE Embedded, and JRockit. Affected releases include Java SE 6u113, 7u99, and 8u77; Java SE Embedded 8u77; and JRockit R28.3.9. The flaw permits unsafe deserialization of attacker-controlled Java objects during JMX interaction, enabling abuse of available gadget chains and execution of unauthorized operations. It was addressed by Oracle's April 2016 Critical Patch Update.
