CVE-2016-6707 is an elevation of privilege vulnerability in the System Server component of Android versions 6.x before 2016-11-01 and 7.0 before 2016-11-01. A local malicious application can exploit this vulnerability to execute arbitrary code with the privileges of the System Server, a highly privileged process. This allows the attacker to bypass normal application sandboxing and access sensitive system resources.
