CVE-2016-6801 is a cross-site request forgery vulnerability in the CSRF content-type check implemented by Jackrabbit-Webdav in Apache Jackrabbit. Affected versions are 2.4.x before 2.4.6, 2.6.x before 2.6.6, 2.8.x before 2.8.3, 2.10.x before 2.10.4, 2.12.x before 2.12.4, and 2.13.x before 2.13.3. The flaw allows the CSRF protection logic for resource-creation HTTP POST requests to be bypassed when the request uses a missing or crafted Content-Type header. As a result, an attacker can cause a victim's authenticated browser or client context to submit unintended WebDAV resource-creation requests under the victim's session.
