In Trend Micro InterScan Web Security Virtual Appliance (IWSVA) version 6.5-SP2_Build_Linux_1707 and earlier, the com.trend.iwss.gui.servlet.ConfigBackup component allows authenticated remote users, even with least privileges, to generate and download a backup of the system configuration. This backup file contains highly sensitive information, including passwd/shadow files, RSA certificates, private keys, and the default passphrase. The vulnerability was addressed in version 6.5 CP 1737.
