CVE-2017-10355 is a vulnerability in the Networking subcomponent of Oracle Java SE, Java SE Embedded, and JRockit. Supported versions affected include Java SE 6u161, 7u151, 8u144, 9; Java SE Embedded 8u144; and JRockit R28.3.15. The vulnerability allows an unauthenticated attacker with network access via multiple protocols to cause a partial denial of service (DoS) in the affected Java runtime environments. The issue can be exploited through sandboxed Java Web Start applications, sandboxed Java applets, or by supplying data to APIs in the Networking component, including via web services. The vulnerability is easily exploitable and does not require user interaction.
