Emphasismine is a stack-based buffer overflow vulnerability in the IMAP service of IBM Domino 8.5.3 and 9.0. The flaw is triggered in processing of the IMAP EXAMINE command when an authenticated user supplies an excessively large mailbox name, causing memory corruption on the stack. Successful exploitation can allow arbitrary code execution in the context of the Domino server process.
