CVE-2017-13258 is an out-of-bounds read vulnerability in the bnep_data_ind function of bnep_main.cc in the Android Bluetooth stack. The vulnerability arises from a missing bounds check, allowing an attacker to trigger an out-of-bounds read by sending crafted Bluetooth packets. This can result in remote information disclosure without requiring user interaction or additional privileges. Affected Android versions include 5.1.1 through 8.1.
