CVE-2017-14087 is a Host Header Injection vulnerability in Trend Micro OfficeScan XG (12.0). The vulnerability allows an attacker to supply a malicious Host header in HTTP requests, which the application fails to properly validate or sanitize. As a result, the attacker can manipulate how the application constructs links or references to itself, potentially rendering arbitrary links that point to attacker-controlled sites. This can be used to poison webpages with malicious links or facilitate further attacks such as phishing or web cache poisoning.
