CVE-2017-16807 is a cross-site scripting vulnerability in Kirby Panel affecting versions before 2.3.3, 2.4.x before 2.4.2, and 2.5.x before 2.5.7. The issue occurs when the Panel displays a specially crafted SVG document that has been uploaded as a content file. Because SVG can contain active script content, insufficient sanitization or unsafe rendering of the uploaded file can result in attacker-controlled JavaScript executing in the browser of a user viewing the file within the Kirby administrative interface.
