CVE-2017-17761 affects Ichano AtHome IP Camera devices. The devices expose a service implemented by the "noodles" binary on TCP port 1300. This service accepts XML input and uses the "system" XML element to specify a command to execute. A remote attacker on the local network can send crafted XML containing arbitrary shell commands in the <system> element, and the device will execute them without authentication. The provided example indicates that submitting <system>id</system> causes the service to execute the command and return a <system_ack>ok</system_ack> response. This is an unauthenticated OS command injection vulnerability in the camera's network-exposed management/service interface.
