This repository contains a single Metasploit auxiliary module targeting a file path traversal vulnerability (CVE-2017-5261) in Cambium cnPilot r200/r201 routers (firmware 4.3.3-R4 and prior). The module authenticates to the device's web interface (default credentials: admin/admin) and exploits the /goform/logRead endpoint to read arbitrary files from the device's filesystem by supplying a crafted Readfile parameter. The exploit is operational, providing the attacker with the ability to specify any file to read (default: /etc/passwd), and saves the output as loot. The attack vector is network-based, requiring access to the device's HTTP interface. The code is written in Ruby and is structured as a standard Metasploit module.
