In Cambium Networks cnPilot firmware versions 4.3.2-R4 and prior, the SNMP read-only (RO) community string allows access to sensitive information by OID reference. This enables attackers with knowledge of the SNMP community string to retrieve sensitive device data, including potentially administrative credentials and configuration details, via SNMP queries.

This repository contains a single Metasploit auxiliary module targeting Cambium cnPilot r200/r201 devices vulnerable to CVE-2017-5262. The module exploits an access control flaw in the SNMP implementation, allowing an attacker with knowledge of a valid SNMP read-only community string to remotely extract sensitive configuration data. The extracted data includes the device's system information, admin credentials, WiFi SSID and PSK, SIP account credentials, and SNMP community strings. The module connects to the target device over SNMP, queries a set of specific OIDs, and saves the results as loot for the operator. The code is written in Ruby and is structured as a standard Metasploit auxiliary scanner module. No code execution or shell access is provided; the exploit is focused on information disclosure via network-based SNMP queries.
