CVE-2017-6020 is a path traversal vulnerability in Leao Consultoria e Desenvolvimento de Sistemas (LCDS) LTDA ME LAquis SCADA software, affecting all versions prior to 4.1.0.3237. The software fails to properly neutralize external input, allowing users to request absolute path sequences outside their privilege level. This enables remote attackers, with simple authentication, to access files outside of restricted directories, potentially exposing sensitive system or application files. The vulnerability is classified as CWE-22 (Improper Limitation of a Pathname to a Restricted Directory).
