CVE-2017-7559 is an HTTP request/response smuggling vulnerability in Undertow caused by an incomplete fix for CVE-2017-2666. Affected versions continue to accept invalid characters in query strings and path parameters. Where a reverse proxy or other intermediary also accepts those characters but parses them differently, an attacker can create an HTTP parsing discrepancy and inject data into a response.
