CVE-2018-0708 is a command injection vulnerability in the network configuration update API of QNAP Q'center Virtual Appliance versions 1.7.1063 and earlier. The flaw allows authenticated users to inject arbitrary commands into parameters passed to the network configuration functionality, which are then executed with root privileges on the underlying operating system. The vulnerability is due to improper input sanitization in the affected API endpoint.
