plexus-archiver before 3.6.0 contains a directory traversal flaw in its archive extraction logic. During extraction, archive entry names containing traversal sequences such as ../ are not properly validated or constrained to the intended destination directory. A crafted archive can therefore cause files to be written outside the target extraction path. This issue is part of the broader class of archive extraction vulnerabilities commonly referred to as Zip Slip.
