This repository contains a Python script (moodle_ssrf2portscan.py) that exploits CVE-2018-1042, a Server-Side Request Forgery (SSRF) vulnerability in Moodle. The script allows an attacker with valid session credentials to perform internal port scans from the Moodle server, targeting a specified internal IP address. It does so by sending crafted POST requests to the vulnerable 'repository_ajax.php' endpoint, using the SSRF flaw to probe a list of common ports (as defined by nmap's top ports). The script reports which ports are open or closed based on the server's responses. The repository is structured simply, with a license, a brief README, and the main exploit script. No hardcoded endpoints are present, but the script requires the user to supply the target Moodle URL and session parameters. The exploit is a proof-of-concept and does not include weaponized payloads beyond the port scanning capability.
