CVE-2018-11511 is a SQL injection vulnerability in the Photo Gallery application shipped with ASUSTOR ADM 3.1.0.RFQ3. The flaw is present in the tree list functionality exposed through the photo gallery API endpoint handling album tree queries. Specifically, the vulnerable request processing accepts attacker-controlled input in the album_id or scope parameter without sufficient sanitization or parameterization, allowing crafted SQL syntax to be injected into backend database queries. Because the issue affects an application API reachable over HTTP, exploitation can be performed remotely against exposed instances of the Photo Gallery component.
