Rondaful M1 Wristband Smart Band 1 devices are vulnerable to a flaw where remote attackers can send an arbitrary number of call or SMS notifications to the device by crafting specific Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) traffic. The vulnerability exists due to insufficient authentication or authorization checks on incoming BLE traffic, allowing unauthorized parties to inject notifications.

This repository contains a Python exploit script (bandexploit.py) and a README.md describing its usage. The exploit targets CVE-2018-11631, a vulnerability in the M1 Band 1 Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) smart watch. The script uses the gatttool utility to connect to a specified device via its Bluetooth MAC address and sends crafted GATT write requests to characteristic 0x0012. This allows the attacker to send arbitrary notification messages (up to 8 characters) to the device, causing it to vibrate and display the message as either a call or SMS notification. The exploit can repeat the notification multiple times. The repository is a standalone proof-of-concept and does not use any exploit framework. The main entry point is bandexploit.py, which is invoked from the command line with the target device's MAC address and desired options.
